Grants and Awards

 

2002 The Big Draw - Drawing Inspiration Awards 2002 The National Rail Museum and myself were awarded runners-up prize for the Mallard Mural project during The Big Draw Event. The award was presented by Quentine Blake at the National Gallery, London on Wednesday 30 April 2003.
2000 - 01 Year of the Artist awarded by West Midlands Arts to work as artist in residence at Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre, Birmingham.
1998 Hulme Regeneration awarded by Manchester City Council to create a sculpture commission; collaborative project led by Craig Russell, with Vibeke Fussing and myself.
1997 - 98 Arts for Everyone Express (A4E) awarded to Connecting Cultures (myself and tile maker, Penny Hampson) to create three ceramic wall murals with Milnrow Women's Group for Milnrow Youth Centre and Littleborough Community Campus.
