Jariwala's paintings are inspired by her Gujarati Indian heritage.

Her final year at college was spent exploring a myriad of Hindu rituals and customs.

These family traditions of cooking food, Diwali, even shared tender moments became an important catalyst in drawing out her identity as a British born Indian.
