As part of my residency at the gallery, I initiated a large scale painting project inspired by rangoli wall and floor decorations from Indian folk art. The four day holiday activity involved participants drawing and painting within fifteen foot square sheets of paper. Sixteen paintings were created and displayed in the Sculpture Court in the final exhibition.
