Nineteen murals were completed after a five week period working on this project with sculptor, Shane Green. Shane worked with year 9/10 students to create wooden reliefs from railway sleepers and these works are now displayed in the school’s courtyard.

Working from Asafo flags from Ghana, Africa, the students produced drawings and paintings influenced by these decorative compositions. It was from their work that I drew up the designs for the nineteen murals produced.
